Right before Y2K, I was at an IBM seminar where the speaker promised he wouldn't be using too many TLA's... “Oops, I mean, Three Letter Acronyms!” he joked.
A - Available
I've used acronyms ever since grade school to help me memorize things. Whether it was things to do, or ways to be, I created short-cuts in my brain that would make me feel confident about completing my tasks, and free to clear my mind of stress. While I couldn't remember all my tasks, ideas, or contacts, my custom-made acronyms would always be at the tip of my tongue.C - Concise
Have you used acronyms throughout your life without consciously realizing it? Perhaps you always felt SOL, or said WTF as a common response (or in your head). Did others give you TMI, or were they usually MIA or DOA? FYI, lots of people have ADD, so acronyms communicate information ASAP.R - Rapid
There can be so much wisdom conveyed in one small acronym. This generation may use a lot more URL's, but it's more about feeling that their BOSS (backwards) is a Double S.O.B., and their JOB leaves them Just Over Broke. They know that FEAR is False Evidence that Appears Real, but they're also usually tuned into WIIFM (What's In It For Me?). OMG!O - Organic
One of the best acronyms about how to relate with people is FORM—That is, talk to people about first their Family, then their Occupation, then Recreational activities, and finally Money. It's a great way to connect with people in general, and specifically in sales. While arguably a bad philosophy, for some sales people, ABC (Always Be Closing), is a great trigger to action.N - Neat
For most people, it isn't about LUCK, unless we spell it “Labor Under Correct Knowledge”. And that knowledge is utilizing acronyms to empower your life. The best acronyms spell a word, making it even easier to recall.Y - Yours
We all need some TLC, so use this A.C.R.O.N.Y.M. that illustrates the power of acronyms to empower your life. Make up your own acronym as a life-long trigger to your life's teaching, direction, or mission. Not an acronym, but a great set of ten, two-letter words is: “If it is to be, it is up to me.”
M - Miraculous
Can an acronym change your life? That depends on what the acronym is. LOL. As with every tool in personal development, it's not the tool that's doing the personal development. It's the underlining context of leverage (how much somebody wants to change), that causes the transformation. With the right context, every tool can be miraculous.LLTWT...
Let's love the world together...
Love,

P.S. There's a yin and a yang to everything. What's the disadvantage of acronyms? They don't translate well, or the subtle poetic beauty is confined to the original language. :(
