I saw Authors Anonymous today and it was awesome! I love movies that are extremely unique and try to even create their own hybrid genre. This movie was like a story-telling documentary done in a reality show format. Make sense? If you liked “Her” or love anything reality, this movie is for you.
I had to see it because I’m an author and anyone who is or ever wanted to be an author ought to check out. Its dialogue had me laugh out loud on many occasions with other sighs of emotions reminding me how engaged I was in the character and plot development. Several author career paths were outlined in the movie’s writer’s group, giving it a realistic sense of what actually happens in the real world.
Admittedly, Kaley Cuoco was an attractive factor for me. The Big Bang Theory is one of my favorite shows, so I thought Kaley would do an excellent job keeping my attention. She did, although her character seemed to resemble the same character as in the sitcom. Her little mannerisms were the same, and just as cute.
Overall the take-away may look a little gloomy, so don’t expect this movie to be very inspiring. However, there were lots of great lines and beautiful moments. And, those are the gems that create a good movie masterpiece.
Let’s love the world together...
