When I ask anyone, "Who is the most important person in your life/world?"The answer I most often get is: "Mom"
And that seems to be right, too.
In every religion, the status of mothers is second only to the status of God.
In India, how many deities are worshiped in the form of a mother:
Maa Durga, Maa Saraswati, Maa Laxmi, Mata Vaishno Devi
And in Islam it is said that "Paradise lies at the feet of your mothers"
Why have mothers been bestowed with such importance/value?
When we hear the term "mother", why are we suddenly filled with so much intense emotion?
Why is the relationship between mother and child such a special one?
When I think about my childhood, I get the answer.
Mothers love us selflessly and unconditionally.
They don't just bring us into this world but also make us worthy of living in this world.
They sleep in wetness themselves so that we may sleep in dryness.
They go without food so that we may eat.
They put us to their chest, keeping us close and safe, and raise us.
It's true - mothers are truly something unique and special.
In fact, without mothers - without women -
life and humanity cannot progress forward.
