I have conjured yet another artistic way to represent my life -- now through 11 movie trailers!!
Check out this list of 11 interesting life themes (with quotes from each movie), and watch all the trailers at http://11trailers.blogspot.com
At First Sight
Being partially sighted, the most common question I get asked is “What can you see?” It’s very difficult to explain what I can see if I don’t know what others see. This movie does an exceptional job of explaining the difference between “optics” and “visual recognition” through a beautiful love story.
"I saw the horizon. It's out there. And though I may not ever be able to touch it, it's worth reaching for."
SNEAKERS
Being a technical geek at an early age, I was able to do all sorts of illegal things like software piracy, security hacking, telephone phreaking (free long-distance), and even created one of the first digital exchange services for people to cheat on their school assignments. This movie provides a fascinating journey into two friends who would learn how to crash the entire system!
“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”
College Conspiracy
I didn’t want to go to University, but since everybody was convinced on how much of a difference it might make for me, I tried it. After just a few weeks, I was disgusted with the bureaucracy, immaturity, and overall incompetence of the institution. I didn’t quite understand how such a inauthentic and immoral institution could get so much praise in our culture, until I discovered this awakening film...
“College education is the largest scam in U.S. history.”
StartUp.com
What they don’t teach you in school is how to find millions of dollars in venture capital and to live your dreams. That’s what I did with a company that used my proprietary web browsing technology to do international trade fulfillment. StartUp.com is a reality-based documentary which takes you into what life was like for me in 2000.
“The rise and fall of the American dream.”
Quest for Success
We missed the dot-com wave and our company crashed! So I had to rely on all my previous teachings from the personal development industry and turn my life around. I turned my previous hobby into my new profession, and even forecasted a feature-length movie that would embody the teachings of the personal development industry. As the first of its kind, I was blown-away but not surprised when I saw the original “Secret.” Actually, that was the first mainstream success. A much better film to check out is “Quest for Success.”
“Success is not the basis of happiness. But happiness is the basis of success.”
Conversations With God
Adversity and spiritual growth have been a common theme in my life, from being born Muslim to attending Christian programs; from studies into Scientology, to new age channeling. My favorite movie about this subject matter is Conversations With God.
“Go ahead and do what you really love to do! Do nothing else! You have so little time. How can you think of wasting a moment doing something for a living you don’t like to do? What kind of a living is that? That is not a living, that is a dying!”
Pay It Forward
How do we change the world? I got exposed to network marketing and realized that was an ingenious way to transform lives all over the world. I knew it was the business model of the future the first time I saw it at age eighteen. But how would we get this idea accepted by the masses? Entertainment, of course. I call it inspirational entertainment, and this movie embodies exactly that.
“I guess it's hard for people who are so used to things the way they are - even if they're bad - to change. 'Cause they kind of give up. And when they do, everybody kind of loses.”
The Obama Deception
I was aware of institutional corruption and the New World Order agenda when I was very young (without the labels, of course). The personal development industry had taught me to focus on the things I could change, and so I compartmentalized my intelligence. Once I saw The Obama Deception on YouTube, however, I knew the era had come where technology would allow the awakening to reach the masses. This is the most viral wake-up call that Google and YouTube have been desperately censoring.
“We need to go to where the real architecture of government is, and it's NOT in a President! It's in a GLOBAL SCHEME!”
The Shadow Effect
I’m not perfect. I have bad habits, and I make mistakes. What I’ve learned is to enjoy the journey of transformation by first loving all of me. Imperfect is the new perfect.
“It’s not just to love the good. It’s to love the dark as well.”
Into The Fire
I had to include this movie because I have a cameo appearance! It was such a great surprise, not knowing I would be in the movie, until I was in the theatre watching this powerful activist movie about the G20.
“Whether you’re a teacher, a doctor, a lawyer, or a police officer, your job is to help people--not to make their lives worst, not to abuse them, not to manipulate them, not to coerce them. So when you act in a way that is abusive to others, to your fellow citizens, and then you say, I was just following orders?! You’re not the victim. You’re actually at fault for not taking a stand for what you made an oath to do when you decided to take on that occupation.”
Money As Debt
This mega-viral movie seen by hundreds of thousands of people on-line (and voluntarily translated to many languages) was my first awakening to the financial paradigm of our world. Like most projects I love, I find my way to the top, and this one was no exception. I got in touch with Paul Grignon, the creator and producer of the movie. Together we created a viral campaign where you can now watch the entire movie for FREE, and support Paul at the same time by implementing one of the solutions -- discovering how you can get tons of stuff for FREE!!
"Permit me to issue and control the money of a nation, and I care not who makes its laws."
Let’s love the world together...
Love,
