$$$ MONEY: Why do we need it???

Bookmark and Share
Hi there everyone!!

Do you know why we use any sort of currency today (money, credit, barter, I mean any form of currency)?

We have to? Why? To eat, and get the things we need for life. We use currency to keep track of all of that exchange.

But, why? Why do we need to keep track of all of that exchange?

Some might say, the world works that way. And because, some people would take advantage, they would be gluttonous and just vacation all the time, or they would be lazy, and wouldn't contribute. How would we make sure people are productive members of society and don't just take everything from others?

So that fear of others taking advantage has the entire world using currency? What would happen if we trusted that everyone, in a conscious collective, would do the best they can with the resources they have and co-create a world that works for everyone? If it is all for one and one for all (which it is on this planet), then keeping track of individual transactions within that one organism seems pointless.

What would be possible if there was no currency (including debt) transaction, and everyone just continued to live with integrity inside of this paradigm?

There would be no financial institutions at all.

There would be no civil courts, for all the courts do is decide equivalent monetary compensation.

There would be no police, for there would be no crimes (all crimes are either based on monetary power or sourced for monetary control). Think of traffic tickets for example. If there was no money to pay for the ticket, or money to pay for insurance, then the policing of that ticket and the insurance concept itself become irrelevant. What becomes dominant is the integrity our collective has to self-govern its own conscious discretion of authorized guidelines for traffic safety.

So, imagine no financial sector, no civil courts, and no police. Now, what would all the people from those institutions be doing?

Some of them would be working on implementing new solutions for environmental sustainability on a global level.

Some may harness their artisan gifts or healing modalities, having more and more of the world's population be present to spiritual fulfillment.

Others may choose to concentrate on social justice issues, devising concepts of governance that transcend humanity even beyond this new world.

This paradigm is now slowly emerging in our culture. The Burning Man community is an example of an expanding consciousness which holds principals such as: "[The Burning Man] community seeks to create social environments that are unmediated by commercial sponsorships, transactions, or advertising. We stand ready to protect our culture from such exploitation. We resist the substitution of consumption for participatory experience."

You get the picture. Do you get the feeling? Are you inspired?

You still have to pay for your bills right? Yes, and you can now start having conversations like this with more people.

Your consciousness of this is your contribution to its complete emergence in our planet. As you become a messenger of that divine source to others, you will uncover that that communication conduit is the link that has us all be one, moving us towards the physical manifestation of a world that really does work for everyone. Our collective words will create our collective world.

And if you're not sure how to have those kinds of conversations right now, start by simply forwarding this e-mail/note/message/txt/wall/blog to those you know. Technology allows you to have that conversation instantly!

The shift starts with a forward. Pay it forward right now.

We are committed to creating an environmentally sustainable, spiritually fulfilling, and socially just world that works for everyone.

Let's love the world together...

Love,
