Reading this in its entirety will expand your consciousness.  Contextualizing aspects of it to your life will be enlightening.  Applying some of it in your community will cause transformationChoosing the destiny of our planet will be transcendental.

1. Consciousness.

Watch the movie, “End of America & the Free World: 10 Steps to Enslave an Open Society” (90 minutes by Naomi Wolf) at http://www.ordinarywords.com/end (FREE) for a deeper understanding of what’s been presented in only 16 minutes.

Focusing 100% on the solution is a fanatical perspective, and an illogical way of being.  If we don’t understand the nature of the problems first, we will not have solutions that are the most effective (and possibly counter-productive).  Yes, spend 90% of your time on the solutions, once you understand the problem (since problems are always changing).

Knowing does make a difference, because when there is a critical-mass of awareness, there is a tipping-point into action!

Love your dark side.  Transformation isn't just about positive thinking.  It's about getting real first.  Discover your dark side with Dr. Deepak Chopra, Mark Victor Hansen, and Marianne Williamson in "The Shadow Effect".

Be grateful that instead of reading through hundreds of pages of documents, and years of research, you are able to sit-back in the comfort of your home/office, to watch an entertaining movie.  This revolution does have its advantages.

We can learn from history.  But instead of reading from textbooks written by the victors of war many years ago, how about watching movies created by modern-day activists who really care about you?

Watch other truth activism movies like Alex Jone's Fall of The Republic, The Obama Deception, Michael Moore's Capitalism: A Love Story, plus The Corporation, Zeitgeist Addendum, Freedom to Fascism, Kymatica: Will You Live or Die?, Esoteric Agenda, Ring of Power, Mayan Calendar & Consciousness Workshop, Food Inc, The World According to Monsanto, and The Story of Stuff. Also look out for the new movies, New World Order, and Earth 2.0, coming out soon.

You can watch The Union: The Business of Getting High, which is a great documentary on on the reality of marijuana/cannabis/pot and how your government uses it for profit.  Look out for many more movies coming to a web site near you!

One unethical argument about our crusade for oil is that "we need it." Actually, we don't. There are lots of secret free-energy systems and you can learn more about them starting with The Disclosure Project. Our government leaders' actions today are based on the foundation of a terrorist attack September 11, 2001, which is a lie. Here is evidence that the 9/11 Truth Commission was a fraud from the commissioners themselves.

You don't need to watch them all.  Just like there may have been professors at college/university who you didn't relate to, there maybe a movie style that does not work for you.  Don't prejudge the entire genre if one movie doesn't agree with you.  Be open, and find a movie that works for you.

The most dangerous fears are the ones you can't see. When you avoid complaining because you think it is so wrong and negative, you are extremely fearful, and in fact avoiding the stand you need to take in order to stop an emerging oppressive government. You are allowed to complain about people who are being unethical, immoral, fraudulent, and inhumane. Being mad is part of the human condition, and doesn't mean that you are anti-"Secret".  Wake up and change the world.

2. Community.

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful,
committed people can change the world.
Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."

- Margaret Mead

Go outside.  Talk to your neighbors, join local groups/clubs, and love the strangers you pass by.  Smile, hug, acknowledge, and compliment.  :)  For a three-minute reminder of what love really is, visit http://www.TheLoveMovie.com or watch this great 15-minute short-film called VALIDATION.

Forward this information and share it on social networking sites, rank them on social bookmarking sites, and keep the conversation alive.  Many people simply don’t have the conversation because they are afraid of the unknown.  You are a pioneer, and your initiative will comfort them -- knowing they are not alone.

Please don’t sit back hoping other people are going to do something instead of you.  We’re competing with mass media conditioning, and we need you -- each and every one of you -- on this humanitarian mission.

Host movie screenings at your house.  It's a great excuse reason to invite people from the neighborhood you do not know, connect with them, and at least discuss world affairs.  We're not out to make money here; we are out to change the system.  Every producer of these movies has spent thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of dollars of their own money to awaken humanity.  We want you to copy them, distribute them, and freely share with everyone you know.

Gandhi said, "We must be the change we wish to see in the world."  That's why personal development, and being immersed in communities of people who are committed to their personal growth, is essential.  A great free place to start is on-line with SelfGrowth.com, and subscribe to our blog at http://ordinarysparks.blogspot.com).  The best community of personal development we recommend is The Landmark Forum (available in 21 countries worldwide).

Use on-line services that cause real-life actions like Tagged by Kindness and Acts of Kindness to spread more love in the world.

It's also important to nourish a spiritual connection.  Religious people are afraid of hell, spiritual people have already been through it.  Religions, however, do understand something about community.  Spiritual people in isolation is like a contradiction.  A very modernized organization I sometimes attend is called The Meeting House.  They use clips from movies (like The Matrix) and modern culture to deliver spiritual teachings in a relaxed style.  Their motto is: "A Church for people who aren't into Church."

3. Commerce.

Grow and/or buy local food.  Do business with local merchants instead of franchises or faceless monopolies.  Support the arts, and buy tickets to the events hosted, produced or marketed by your friends.

Take time to know how the monetary system really works.  This Christmas, give all the people at your local bank a copy of "Money As Debt" (DVD) to awaken them.  For more information, visit "Merry Christmas, My Dear Bank."

It doesn't take money anymore to get mass exposure. What it does take is a collective consciousness of individuals committed to a common purpose. Now there are FREE full-day workshops around the world that will teach you financial intelligenceIf you can read, but don't, you may as well be illiterate.  So join us at the next Millionaire Mind Intensive Weekend.

Instead of seeing a doctor, visit a holistic nutritionist, an intuitive/spiritual healer, or alternative professional equivalent.  Don't see a psychiatrist, see a psychologist or psychotherapist.  Rather than inject pharmaceuticals, uncover meet-up groups on the Internet which have the challenges you face.

Research alternative medicine and natural remedies.  Look into Montessori and other forms of alternative education for your children, or institutions like The Transformational Arts College for your continued education.

Did you know how socially and politically aware Generate We is? Support them financially, because they have the genius and drive to change the world. Maybe you have Indigo children? Embrace their wisdom.

Don’t spend your time or consciousness trying to save $5 (you're probably spending more money in gas, not to mention all the inconvenience/frustration).  Instead, learn about taxes and interest, because they are the two biggest expenses of your life.  The best way to avoid both of them is to barter whenever possible, or join barter networksJoint-venturing (like being an affiliate partner) is a great way to do business, eliminating transaction cost and fostering more community/co-creation.

Become knowledgeable about the multi-level/network marketing industry.  These organizations are much more ethical (not perfect) than the brands you’ve been brainwashed to feel so good about -- and you’d be supporting your family and friends (and their families, and their friends, etc., etc.).

Forget about lawyers.  Write contracts for the sake of effective communication, and choose to do business with those whose word you trust.  The only ones who win in a corrupt legal system are the lawyers who have no incentive to authentically transform your situation.

4. Co-Creation.

Participate in the development of social, political, and economic constructs.  You are not just a citizen of the planet; you are a member of the human species that has an integral role in our collective.

Examples may be working to audit and/or abolish The Federal Reserve, or writing letters to your representatives in parliament to make sure legislation like Bill C-6 do not pass.  Watch constitutional lawyer Shawn Buckley as he demonstrates how the government is using health care to eliminate citizen liberties.  You can also choose to contribute to our political party, the Party for People with Special Needs.

Don’t submit to authority.  Their responsibility is to educate you, not to indoctrinate you.  So ask them questions about the swine flu, like, “have THEY taken it yet?” (FYI, Obama has not.)  Know what you are putting in your body and why you are putting it there.  Ask your health care professional if they feel President Barack Obama calling a state of national emergency for H1N1 was warranted?  No question should be considered stupid.  Listen to Barbara Loe Fisher from the National Vaccine Information Center (NVIC) about the swine flu.

A "democracy" that markets to its citizens
while restricting the freedom of the press

from giving alternative views,
is in transition to a dictatorship.

Join the Truth Activist Movement.  There are many people who are well respected with public names like Congressman Ron Paul, comedian George Carlin, wrestler Jesse Ventura, and actor Charlie Sheen.  Jesse Venutra also has a new television show coming out very soon which discusses these specific issues.

5. Collaboration.

Know that partisan politics have been a disguise for distraction.  Get involved in non-partisan organizations like the emerging new Tea Parties.  If you work for or volunteer in a major political party, ask them to look at these issues and the true concerns of those they authentically represent.  Direct them to this Truth Curriculum and demand that they give you some answers.

We have a solution that literally helps transition our current monetary system into the emerging gift economy (Michael Beckwith's articulation), by circulating wealth to the non-profits and charities of the world.  We have a blueprint which will eliminate world poverty (20,000 children die everyday).  Discover more about Humanity Unites Brilliance at http://www.GiveWhileYouReceive.com/MrDistinct

Part of the construct is to facilitate the coming together of problem-solvers in order to transcend the challenges of our time.  This shift is in creating an environmentally sustainable, spiritually fulfilling, and socially just world that works for everyone.

Engage in social networks about philanthropy and humanitarianism.  You can start at the HUB Circle.  There are no conspiracy theories; only collaboration theories which many have come true.

Initiate or promote co-operatives.  The new battlefields of the revolution will be the Internet and fought in virtual worlds.  Therefore, telephone, videophone, cellular, security, and internet services are good ideas to get bundled inside of a co-operative that can save you money and generate income.  If you'd like to join our telecommunications team, contact us regarding ACN - All Communications Network.

The currency that has stood the test of time for thousands of years is that of precious commodities like gold and diamonds. Don't just make gold a part of your portfolio -- collaberate with a whole community dedicated to leveraging this currency as a new standard for commerce. For more information, visit Global Wealth Trade.

6. Celebration!

It's important to be playful and enjoy the process of everything we do.  Success is a journey, not a destination.

We create communities that integrate transformation with social eventsBecome a fan on Facebook and join our newsletter list for invitations to fun gatherings and cool parties.

For example, Stuart Knight produces inspirational live shows and musicals. Every morning you could wake up to empowering Success Songs from Paul Hoffman.  We promote The Buddha Groove which attracts tons of practitioners from the wellness industry, who love to mingle, dance, and celebrate.  Join us for our next big event, New Year's Eve.  Visit http://www.BuddhaGroove.ca.

We have large communities in major cities across North America, China, Australia, United Kingdom, and India.  Use our discussion boards to organize local chapters.

More Sexy Solutions!!

There are so many others who are creating great paradigms of solutions in this new awakening.  Just released October 30, 2009, watch this episode of On The Edge with Max Keiser which presents many more solutions you can implement. We encourage you to create your own campaigns, so like the Internet, it will be impossible for the establishment to ban or censor all of us.

"It doesn't matter how strong your opinions are.
If you don't use your power for positive change,
you are, indeed, part of the problem."
- Coretta Scott King, Reformer

Most people do not have high-speed easy Internet access (outside of their vocation), so if you are reading this on-line, take the extra effort to get this information into the hands of your friends who are not on-line.  And, remember that those who are on-line may not be as net savvy or computer literate as you.  Teach people how to use tools like Google, Facebook, YouTube, Wikipedia, Blogger, and other resources you may be familiar with.

Copy, distribute, and post this page to blogs, web-sites, directories, and bulletin-boards.  Print out physical copies and place them at community centers, libraries, and common areas in universities, colleges and offices.  We are triggering your memory with as many possibilities as possible, so you can realize that the name of the game is exposure on every level in all ways.

If you are an artist, produce material that integrates this new activist movement.  Write plays.  Direct documentaries.  Choreograph dances.  Develop this genre..  Sing music.  Perform spoke-word or slam poetry.  Express your new found knowledge through your gifted talents.  Always carry a video-capture device (cell/camcorder, especially at protests), and upload your videos everywhere.

WARNING: High-Risk Sexy Solutions

Media

If you work for the media, don't just read everything that's on the teleprompter.  Do your own research on the Internet, and make sure all major sides of each issue are given their due airtime.  If they are not, then go to your manager, and demand that they are.  This is the point where you take a stand for humanity.

Don't spend a lot of time watching television, or even reading newspapers.  Personal development taught to avoid television, and historically that may have been wise.  Today, avoidance is a flawed strategy.  You need to become an educated citizen, and that does not mean you do not pay attention to what's happening in the world.  What that means is you spend about 30 minutes a day going through the major news broadcasters like Fox, CNN, MSNBC, to see what they are doing and what they are presenting.  Then, watch alternative media shows on the Internet (like the Alex Jones Show), to uncover the other side of the story.  We're not about extremism.  We want you to see both sides so you can learn how unethical one side has been.

Click on the image below to see how
the entire mainstream media
is owned by the same companies.

Send a press release to your local television, newspaper, and radio stations which outline this document.  Or just send this entire document for ease.  When enough people send them the same questions, they will be forced to discuss them.  The will try to take you off on tangents, so you need to be pro-active in your assertions.

Make sure you know what your children are watching.  Some cartoons are becoming propaganda tools to teach children things like "torture is OK and funny."

Military

Honor your mother by watching this short Mother's Day Proclamation (1870) for World Peace. Vanessa Williams, Felicity Huffman, Christine Lahti, Fatma Saleh, Ashraf Salimian, Gloria Steinem, and Alfre Woodard, have come together to create an inspirational video for you from mothers of those at war.

Your biggest allegiance could be to your inner spirit and soul.  Are you doing what you have been called to do?  Or are you doing something just because it is a part of a command-structure?  There's nothing wrong with a beautiful and powerful command-structure, if you truly understand it.  Oath Keepers is a non-partisan association of currently serving military, veterans, peace officers, and firefighters who will fulfill the oath they swore to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.

If you are part of a police force, please remember that your duty is to serve and protect citizens.  Whenever you get an order to do a mass-raid, invasion without a warrant, harassment, or any other form of unethical behavior to your fellow citizens, remember reading this.  Any kind of activism should be protected, not criminalized.  If you are policing any protests, protect the protesters.  You would be shocked to see what happened at the recent G20 Summit.

Government

If you work in the government, talk to your supervisors and managers.  Ask them why there is such a big resistance that is emerging against the government.  Ask them if they know about Germany and how a dictatorship was formed.  There's no coincidence that Germany is the most awake country today (greatest percentage not taking swine flu, greatest percentage that believes 9/11 was an inside job).

Become a whistleblower if you see any unethical (non necessarily unlawful) activity.  If you are a buyer, don't just give contracts to your friends.  When you see contracts that are being favored, make sure you call people out on it.

Legal

Know your rights.  Study The Constitution.  Study The Charter of Rights & Freedoms.  Any legal manipulation that is added on top of that understanding, is corruption.  Just because something is "the law" doesn't make it right, ethical, moral, or humane.  Just because Obama calls you a terrorist doesn't make you one (but the law says it does).  This is legal trickery to create a dictatorship.

Here are the most important ones to remember:  We have the freedom of free speech.  We have the freedom of peaceful assembly.  When these rights are threatened, we loose our humanity.

If only certain people can manipulate the law for their own benefits (like the trillion dollar bailout of the banks), and brainwash you through the media to accept it because they own the corporations, then that is not an ethical legal system.  You must take a stand to all laws that are unethical, immoral, fraudulent, or inhumane (e.g., torture).

If you work in the legal profession, don't defend people who you know are deliberately fraudulent.  Work for people, not for companies.  Work for charities, not for government.  Have your clients be as efficient as possible, even if it means you make less money.  Don't make things complicated when they can be simple.  Be more compassionate than intelligent.  Support the spirit of the law, instead of the technicalities of law.

Education

Don't just listen to your Ministry of Education.  Teach our children practical skills for living.  Yes, reading, writing, math, logic, and reason would be the most important.

Instead of teaching calculus, why not teach about interest rates and monetary policy?  Rather than give them printed material from the government, show them how to do their own research on the Internet.  If children ask you things you don't know, show them -- and learn yourself -- how to find the answers.

"The mediocre teacher tells.
The good teacher explains.
Superior teachers demonstrate.
Great teachers inspire."
- William Arthur Ward, Author, Editor & Pastor

Rather than condemning their violence, illustrate to them how they are behaving in a conditioned way by the media, and a completely aligned way with the state of the world.  There will always be violence in our neighborhoods so long as there are wars in our world.

Once we understand that, then we can teach that to the next generation.  And then, that generation will be called to a greater purpose of eliminating wars in the world, knowing that they are not wrong or bad, but just bi-products of a corrupt global system.  There is tremendous inspiration in knowing you can be at cause in its transformation.

Use on-line educational and entertaining tools.  There is so much available, like the Our World Movie, available in fifteen languages.

Health-Care

Understand that lots of people are making money from the swine flu, and so they have a vested interest in giving you a skewed perspective.  It is hard to believe that good people would put money over humanity, but we were warned about this in many religions, and we are facing it right now, head-to-head.

If you work in the health-care profession, tell your hospitals/clinics/schools that you refuse to take the shot, and you refuse to administer it.  If your job is threatened, let us ask you something: "What was your job really?"  Do you want to fall victim to the same money-over-humanity paradigm that says you need to feed your family, and that they will just hire someone else and it won't make a difference?  You can always justify inhumane things, because you can always justify anything.  Ask yourself, what are you justifying.

Finance

If you work for a bank, insurance company, or any kind of financial institution, go to your managers and directors, and ask them why they allowed a trillion dollars of tax-payer money to support their unethical behavior.  When they say things like "It wasn't me, not my department, you can't blame people," then take a stand.  Ask them to go up the chain until we find the decision makers that allowed corrupt things to happen.

Tell them you will make this part of YOUR job, and enroll everyone else in the company to do the same, until we get the criminals from the top of these institutions to give back their ENTIRE bonuses, and resign.

When you sit back as an "employee" and do nothing, you are transforming yourself into a "slave"; not just an economic slave, now a physical, emotional, and psychological slave for at least 8 to 12 hours a day.  Masters had to feed and house old slaves.  You feed and house yourself.

If you are trading public stocks (currencies, futures, commodities, derivatives, options, etc.) full-time to sustain your lifestyle, please stop.  You are funding war in the world, and you have so many other options in our society of making a living.

Those who are financially independent, we request that you focus your time, not on making more money or serving on boards of corporations, but on devoting yourself to humanity.  You can support to awaken humanity in so many ways.  Volunteering, philanthropy, angel investing, supporting your financially-constrained friends, capitalization (including time/resources) of charities/non-profits, funding activism, or bringing this message to others, are among a few noble possibilities.

We are bringing integrity back to humanity.  The revolution is now.

Let’s love the world together...

Love,

P.S. We are in a time of history where the Internet is our true hope of transcendence. Obama is currently considering passing legislation that will give him the power to shut-down the Internet.  If this happens, our leverage to awaken humanity now will be severely dissipated.  So please share these videos with urgency so that we can raise consciousness, and completely change the world.

P.P.S. You are sexy.  You are a visionary for reading all of this.  Thank you for co-creating with us.

Contributors: Eternal Maya, Janice Ashby, Diana Nahr Drew, Mark MacLean, Andrei Losinski, Naz Ahmed-Baty, The Great Awakening Group, Blanca Scanlon-Sharpe, Samantha Najarro, Dan King, Steve Rogers, and numerous anonymous contacts (They do not all agree with everything I've said, nor am I even able to do everything I've said all the time.)

How Did I Get To All of This?  Read these two blog entries:
“The Secret” is Stupid, Capitalism: A Love Story
New World Order - Are you Brainwashed?

P.P.P.S. Did you think we were going to change the world in just three paragraphs?  :)  I started with three.  And it's still not thousands of pages (like legislation) -- it's pretty simple stuff, actually.  Just share it.

The first duty of love -- is to listen. Here’s how.

Bookmark and Share
Hi there everyone!!

First I would like to acknowledge everyone who e-mailed me about promoting the feature-length movie last week.  It is an awakening for all of us to understand the true nature of our world constructs.  I appreciate you being on this journey of humanitarian transformation.

We know that some of the issues are controversial, and that the wrapping may appear to some as negative.

Remember, the foundation of everything is how you listen.

Listen to 2-minutes of a keynote I did about listening.
http://www.ordinarywords.com/listen

You can listen to anything inside of a positive context.

The biggest negative thing you can do is to avoid something that you have already attracted for good reason.

So make the time to watch the feature presentation which follows.
http://www.ordinarywords.com/listen

You may think you are putting your focus on paying your rent...  Be aware, that a big portion of that (half of your taxes) is actually funding illegal wars and the brutal killings of innocent people you don’t know in countries you probably never visited.

Those people are your brothers and sisters of humanity.

Let go of your resistance.  It’s conditioned behavior from mass media propaganda.

It’s time to wake up now, and it’s time to change the world.
http://www.ordinarywords.com/listen

Let’s love the world together...

Love,
[)anish /|hmed, Visionary

P. S. We’re using e-mail, social networks, and video sites on the Internet (which are awesome), to compete against corporately funded media giants that broadcast to hundreds of millions of people 24 hours a day, with staffs of people who research human psychology for decades to manipulate your behavior.

Please share this information.  This fight (or "authentic truth and love expansion", for you law-of-attraction, Obama-hope religious fanatics), is worth it -- in fact, isn't it what you've always lived for?

http://www.ordinarywords.com/listen

P. P. S. I’ve been waiting 22 years for this day.  :)

I'm sorry. Can you forgive me?

New World Order - Are you Brainwashed?

Bookmark and Share
Hi there everyone!!

I've never been so passionate, so I am using strong language in this article.  Know that every word is said with love.

At age fifteen, I found myself at the Central Ontario Regional Parliament.  I had absolutely no interest in politics, but I had nothing better to do.  Surprisingly, for the first time in my life, I was surrounded by people who actually wanted to say “hello” and be with me authentically.  Some of them even wanted to give me a hug!  So, I ended up going to about a dozen other regional youth parliaments.

I was a delegate at the Western Canadian Youth Parliament, became involved in the Forum for Young Canadians, was invited to Presidential Classroom and the Future World Leaders Summit in Washington, D.C., and flew to Hungary for the World Model United Nations.

My favorite event was being at the White House during Bill Clinton’s inauguration.  :)

I found myself at a meeting of The Council on Foreign Relations and thought, “How the heck could these bureaucratic idiots actually accomplish anything?”

I remember being at The World Bank, hearing about the International Monetary Fund, and thinking, “Holy fuck, is so much of society that brainwashed that they don’t even realize we serve a WORLD bank?”

It was so logically obvious to me that our governments were corrupt when they took 1,000 pages to create legislation which most high-school students could write in 3 pages and accomplish in a fraction of the time.  The numerous real public officials I tried to communicate with (MPs, MPPs, MLA’s) seemed so insensitive and had no desire to work with the next generation.  It was like a dog-and-pony show to make education officials happy.

But were we just naive as teenagers not to understand the complexity of the world?

Today I understand that “Insanity is taking the simple and making it complex.  Genius is taking the complex and making it simple.”  For example, ask any child or teenager, "do you want more war in the world?"  99% of them would say, "No", so why do we have hundreds of people debating that for months on end?  Get people to wonder if it should be 20,000 or 40,000 troops, and they will forget the absurdity of the war in the first place.

Nevertheless, I had to take a stab at real politics in order to authentically determine how fucked-up the system really was.  So I created the Party for People with Special Needs and we ran in the last two elections.  I was also a big promoter of Proportional Representation.

Now I can say that everything I knew when I was eleven is true.  I suppressed it because most of society would think I was crazy or psychotic.  I would share my knowledge with a few through documents and conversations...  But they were too lazy to read anything substantial, or too apathetic to engage me seriously.

What’s available for you twenty years later is this feature-length, entertaining movie.
http://www.ordinarywords.com/humanity

Yet, some people still won’t take the time to watch it.  They rather have strong opinions about it first, in order to justify their reality (which unfortunately is only a brainwashed state of enslavement).  A true scientist or open-minded person always seriously considers every perspective, no matter how outrageous.

The brainwashing was done to the masses through mainstream media.  Some conscious people may say, “Yeah, but I haven’t watched television for years.”  Yet they drive around and see tons of billboard ads through their subconscious mind on a daily basis without realizing it.  Unless you live in the jungle, you are susceptible, even at airports, as “terror conditioning” happens while you wait for your delayed aircraft.

I haven’t been brainwashed (as much) because I’m blind.  Most people see 2,000 advertisements a day that numbs them down so they don’t take an active interest in world affairs.  Fashion, sports and entertainment become so much more important (which fuel their complacency).

I’ve made it a life focus to understand this stuff.  I was never influenced by fashion but became extremely conscious of it so I could attract women.  I could never play sports, but became extremely conscious of them so I could relate to the masses.  I never liked watching television, so I decided to produce on-line movies in order to ignite a mass awakening of our humanity.

You have been programmed with triggers that will have you immediately dismiss some of these assertions, attack people’s character, mock our entire premise, or categorize it as a “conspiracy theory.”

None of those things are logical -- they are all triggered emotional responses that do not negate any factual evidence.

Become conscious of how you’ve been psychologically manipulated to serve an agenda.  Now is the time to break free from this mental slavery.

When talking about this to a colleague at an improv class, she said, “I’m really tired.  I had a really tough week.  Can’t we talk about the movies or something?”

I didn’t say this, but felt this throughout my body:

“You had a tough week?  You don’t want to talk about how 20,000 children died today because of lack of food/water -- real political/economic constructs that you are enjoying right now had those children die.  I think the parents of those 20,000 children had a week much tougher than your week.  Tell me how fucking tough was your week?”

Don’t tell yourself you’re going to watch this later.
http://www.ordinarywords.com/humanity

Humanity needs you NOW.

Wake the fuck up!

Let’s love the world together...

Love,
[)anish /|hmed, blind visionary

P. S. “What can one person really do to change things?” is the stupidest programmed excuse most people will want to use not to do anything.

You can rate the YouTube videos.
You can hold a private screening at your home and invite your friends.
You can keep this conversation alive with your communities.

Gift & Present Distinction for Thanksgiving

Bookmark and Share
Hi there everyone!!

The word “give” and “gift” are similar enough for me to guess that they were at some point in history, from the same root word. We give gifts. That means a gift is given without any attachments. No occasion, no reason, no requests, nothing. A gift isn’t about waiting for something in return. A gift is completely free.

Presents do have other things associated to them. Presents are given on occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, and certain holidays. In some holidays, presents are exchanged so there is an assumption of receiving something in return. When we “present” an award or certificate, it is for a specific reason. Even spontaneous presents are signals of love, friendship, or other types of relationships.

Presentations are often delivered for something in return. School presentations for marks. Sales presentations for profit. Awards presentations for recognition. If nothing else, there is always a desire for recognition when delivering a present. As stated, there is also expectation associated to presents. That’s why often presents are wrapped. To lengthen and exaggerate the sense of expectation. There’s nothing wrong with that. The feeling of expectation is a great feeling and a great feeling to exaggerate. But it’s not about giving.

A present always has a physical form. A gift can have no form. A gift can be a smile. It can be a genuine compliment. It can be a pat on the back. It can be a word of encouragement. It can be a loving hug. A gift can be whatever the mind can conceive.

Give more gifts in life. The easiest person to give a gift to is a stranger. That’s because there’s automatically no expectation. There’s no recognition. And, if we walk away quickly enough, it’s impossible for the stranger to feel like they need to give something back.

None of these definitions are written to be technical. They are written to make us think and wonder about our language. For example, is making a donation to a charity a gift or a present? Since we get a financial benefit in return in that tax year, technically it is a present. But it all depends on the mind set in which we gave the donation. If we made a donation with the manner of completely giving without getting anything back, then it was a gift. The tax-break is just a gift to us from our government.

Whenever we give something to our universe, we always get something back. (This is also Newton’s third law in physics.) It’s like an unwritten law. The key is not to expect anything back. Just because we will get something back, doesn’t mean we didn’t give a gift. What makes a gift is the intention in which we gave it. If we give gifts often, we’ll likely get lots back in our life.

5 Minutes to Dream 300 Books!

Bookmark and Share
Hi there everyone!!

On page 96 of “A Dictionary of Distinctions,” I ask “They say a picture is worth a thousand words. If so, how much is a five-minute dream worth?”

Let’s really figure it out right now. Those in the video or electronic media industry will tell you that standard quality videos (most television sets) have approximately 30 frames per second. That means, to make a movie look like a “movie,” there are actually 30 pictures that are displayed consecutively in one second. The eye sees so many (30) pictures so fast (1 second) that it perceives it as real-motion.

Since there are 60 seconds in a minute, that means there are 60 x 5 = 300 seconds in 5 minutes.

With 30 frames (or pictures) in one second, we get 300 x 30 = 9,000 frames.

So, if a picture is worth a thousand words, a five-minute dream is worth 9,000 x 1,000 = 9,000,000 words!

The average book has 30,000 words, so a five-minute dream is worth about 300 books.

Here's the point: It’s not enough to have a great slogan, a nice mission statement, and all the desire and ambition in the world. Visualizing our dreams on a consistent basis has such enormous benefits! We’ve taken a technical look at how much value is in a five-minute dream. And, we haven’t even touched on the emotional dimension!

Don’t just dream the great visuals, but add emotions and feelings to the visualization. That will increase its value exponentially! Remember what Scott Michael says, “If you don’t have a dream, how are you going to make a dream come true?”

Every morning, as soon as I wake up, I thank God and the universe for where I am (a great practice I learned from Tim Foley, former player for the Miami Dolphins). Then, I visualize for five minutes where I am going. I see myself speaking in front of large audiences. I see myself traveling around the world. I see the woman of my dreams proud of me by my side. I see a difference being created in the lives of people around me.

What dreams do you have AFTER you wake up?

Distinctions from September 11, 2001

Hi there everyone!!

September 11, 2001 was a historic day for all of us. Even from the most horrific incidents, we can extract good.  That's what I will do here, illustrating the eloquent response of President George W. Bush and the charismatic message that he imparted (much like Obama does today, but that's another topic).

In his speech to Congress, the American People and global citizens, George W. Bush said:

“We will rally the world to this cause by our efforts, by our courage. We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail.”

While the words “tire,” “falter,” and “fail” may merely seem like repetitive jargon to create emotional emphasis or poetic harmony, they actually contain a significant depth of communication.

We will not tire. This has to do with our efforts. This has to do with our persistence. This has to do with our perseverance. This word expresses our consistent actions to attain our cause.

We will not falter. This has to do with our competence. This has to do with our intelligence. This has to do with our wisdom. This word expresses our resourcefulness to attain our cause.

We will not fail. This has to do with our conviction. This has to do with our determination. This has to do with our confidence. This word expresses our faith in attaining our cause.

As we can see, there’s a depth of meaning in just three distinct words. They were wisely chosen.

We live in a world where effective communication is vital in sustaining peace and understanding amongst all global citizens. George W. Bush delivered these words with pride and conviction: “We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail.”

Now let's use these distinctions for our cause of truth and authentic freedom.  Let us not tire, let us not falter, and let us not fail.

Drawing the Line Between Love & Integrity

Bookmark and Share

Love isn’t like a fairy tale, starting with all things in line,
We live in the real world, with only songs that are so fine,
Obstacles and decisions we face, and challenges, too,
For me to have love, I must say I do.

Memories of you keep me up at night,
As I think what is wrong and what is right,
I sit here and dream the possibilities,
As I draw the line between love and integrity.

For love does encompass honor and respect,
If these elements aren’t there, then the love isn’t perfect,
It’s fighting for a lost cause or a bad inevitable,
It’s something I can’t control and it isn’t irreversible.

Memories of you keep me up at night,
As I think what is wrong and what is right,
I sit here and dream the possibilities,
As I draw the line between love and integrity.

But all is fair in love and war, the saying was read,
Nice guys finish last and the cheaters are always ahead,
So here I take my risk for what it’s worth,
Because for me, love, of all things, is always first.

The Power of an Authentic Request (Please read this... It will mean a lot to me)

Bookmark and Share
Hey there everyone!!

Thanks. I appreciate you taking the time to read this. Now, why do you think this means a lot to me? Take a moment and think about it. What got you to start reading this? If you don't read "every" post, what got you to start reading this time? Was it simply because I asked you to?

Consider how powerful a tool "asking" can be. We can get what we want sometimes simply by making a request. Let people know that what you're asking for is important to you, and they will want to contribute in some way. It sounds simple, yet some of us are afraid to ask others for any kind of help. We may try to do everything on our own.

I was like this. I wanted to be independent. I couldn't stand being blind and being at a visual disadvantage. So I did everything in my power to compensate for my disadvantages. I studied harder and I anticipated my challenges. For example, when I was thirteen, I traveled to every subway station in Toronto, so that I would become familiar with the environments. This meant that when I would later go for job interviews, I could save time by recognizing certain landmarks, rather than getting lost or asking someone for directions.

Wanting to be independent served me. It gave me confidence and valuable experience. However, when I would get lost and be late for an interview, for example, I wouldn't ask anyone for help. I would persist with my own abilities. I didn't want to look bad to others. It wasn't until later in life that I found the humility to simply ask for help.

There is power in an authentic request. Most people genuinely want to make a difference. For me, I didn't want to ask strangers for help. For you, it may be a friend or a family member, a co-worker or a significant other that you're hesitant to approach. What have you been afraid of asking? Are you afraid of getting turned down? Are you afraid of being vulnerable? Marianne Williamson says, "Where love is present, fear cannot exist."

We have so many resources at our disposal. Take the telephone for example... Somebody at a recent seminar was saying they had a great new product for an office furniture chain, but wasn't sure how to get their idea heard. What's the solution? Pick up the telephone, call the head office, and ask them for their policy and procedure on new product acquisitions. Ask. Sometimes it's just that simple.

Now, what are you asking yourself on a daily basis? What questions come up in your mental chatter? Are they questions like, why am I so unlucky? Why does this always happen to me? Or, are they questions like, how can I turn this around? What's funny about this situation? Your brain will come up with an answer for ANY question, so it's very important to make sure you're asking empowering questions like "How can I turn this around and make a difference?"

As a good book from a long time ago says, ask and it shall be given unto you; seek and ye shall find; knock and the door shall be opened unto you. Profound words. And, in more ways than one. To recap, feel free to make authentic requests from other people in your life. If you find yourself stuck and not knowing, think who else you can ask. And, consider that the questions we ask ourselves on a habitual basis get answered by creating the reality that we live.

Thanks again for reading this. I get joy and satisfaction from knowing that my words have a positive impact on you. Whether you get a simple burst of motivation while you're reading this, or you take actions that you wouldn't otherwise have taken, I feel a sense of purpose and mission. I hope this message has made a difference for you.

Mentorship

Bookmark and Share
Hey there everyone!!

Finding and receiving mentorship has transformed my life in ways some find remarkable.

At age thirteen, I was the first person in the Toronto Board of Education to participate in Co-Operative Education (working in the job market). There I met Peter who would become my first mentor. My job was to do computer programming; however, I found great fascination in learning about business.

Peter was the owner of a relatively small company and noticed my broadening interests. He took me under his wing, explaining some of the ins and outs of daily business. Peter introduced me to many of his clients and invited me to various trade shows. This experience was invaluable, causing me to become even more passionate about technology, business and everything else that I was learning.

Peter and I remain friends to this day. Sometimes people are shocked when I mention to them how I co-developed a U.S. patent in the biomedical industry while I was a teenager. The secret, of course, is that I had a great mentor and wisely chose to follow in his footsteps.

At age sixteen, I was serendipitously introduced to Dan. Dan and I developed a strong friendship with our mutual interests in technology and business. We conjured up great new business ideas together and sought out venture capital. Initially I thought, "Who is going to listen to a teenager, (who is blind) about a business idea -- let alone invest millions of dollars in it?"

Thankfully, Dan wasn't in the same category. He was much older than me, having a Masters in Business Administration with lots of experience in the oil industry, business and politics. Dan helped to increase our credibility with potential investors. More importantly, Dan was my resource for knowledge and information that can only be acquired through experience.

We did it! We got $1.5 million in capital and started an exciting new venture. What was the secret? It was my willingness to listen and appreciate the wisdom of a mentor.

I never knew that I would want to be in business for myself. I grew up on welfare, so there weren't many opportunities for me to find role-models that I could follow. I wouldn't even know where to start if I wanted to learn about operating my own business. What would I need to learn first?

Raymond Aaron is co-author of Chicken Soup for the Canadian Soul and was my mentor while I produced my best-selling book, "A Dictionary of Distinctions." Raymond says: "Sometimes what we most need to learn, we do not even know we need to learn. That is the huge benefit of a mentor."

In essence, mentors don't help us learn about things we don't know -- that we can acquire from a textbook. Mentors help us learn about things that we have yet to realize that we don't know -- things outside of our current consciousness, things we haven't thought about yet...

And, that's why the mentorship is invaluable.

3 Reasons NOT to Exercise

Bookmark and Share
Hi there everyone!!

We've all heard how regular exercise is vital for good health and a well-balanced lifestyle. Now, how many of us have tried to lose weight, buff ourselves up, or join a fitness program, only to be disappointed by the lack of results we see? Maybe we do workout periodically, but feel apathetic towards the development of our physical body? Maybe we develop the apathy out of failures, out of giving up, or out of accepting that which we really do not want.

Since age thirteen and my introduction to the personal development industry, I was hearing from everyone how much of a difference regular exercise can make. And, I didn't do anything about it. I was healthy and I wasn't overweight or anything, so why would I exercise regularly? Nevertheless, after hearing about some of the great benefits, I would get temporarily motivated and go to the gym... The next day, I would feel terrible, not see any results, and give up on the idea. It wasn't like I had no discipline -- in fact, I had very good reasons for not sticking it through.

Your Reasons Are Perfectly Valid

My biggest reason was that I couldn't see well enough to exercise properly. With 5% sight, it was really difficult to figure out how to use those machines properly, even if somebody showed me how. What's the point in using the machine incorrectly? What if I dropped one of the weights by mistake and seriously hurt myself? Was it really worth the trouble? Hey, some people learn by simply watching others and copying... I couldn't do that! I couldn't even see any of the buttons on the treadmill machines well enough to start by cardio. Man, I had a really good reason not to start, and it wasn't until I turned 23 that I started exercising regularly. It took me ten years to get it, and I don't want it to take ten years for you to get it.

I'm sure you have some really good reasons, too. I may not know exactly what they are, but I do know that they are extremely valid for you, and that they are what is creating your reality. Let me talk about some of my other "reasons" which may be more common.

There's Not Enough Time to Exercise Regularly

Some of us have very busy and intense lifestyles, and it can be very difficult to find time on a regular basis for exercise. Here's what I discovered: When we exercise regularly (even if it's just for 10 minutes at a time), we increase our vitality and we increase our energy level. This causes us to be less stressed and to be more productive. I've found that the more exercise I do, the less sleep I need. In the long run, regular exercise SAVES us time. Really, it does.

Exercising is a Painful Experience

Yes, it hurts. It just doesn't hurt physically, it hurts emotionally. Here's what I discovered: There are some things in life which may not be pleasurable for us (like saving money, asking people for dates, or simply reading), yet we know we would benefit greatly by doing those things. The trick is to discover how to do those activities in ways that can be enjoyable for us...

For example, if we love listening to music, then maybe by playing music we really love while we workout, our minds will be occupied enough that we won't notice some of the discomfort. Another example is to try finding activities that would be of interest to you. I tried dance lessons, martial arts, and wilderness adventures.  Tryout for a community sports team or join a walking club. There are tons of enjoyable recreational activities that are great for keeping us healthy and fit. (Also remember that the amount of pain you feel during exercise is decreased based on the amount of nutrition you feed your body in your diet.)

Having said all that, you want to feel some pain when you workout. That's the sign that your body is growing and developing. What are you capable of? What does it feel like to reach the limits of your strength, to reach the limits of your endurance? In fact, you will break out of those limits only when you continually press up against them.

It Takes Too Long to See Results from Exercising

For me, it took six months to see any significant results. How long will it take for you? I have no idea. I do know that when you start seeing the results, you will feel that it was worth everything you put into it. It takes time to build momentum, and once it is built, the results increase exponentially. I can't tell you how good I feel these days just by looking at myself in the mirror, or noticing the extra attention I've been getting from women. :) I feel happier and more alive than ever before. That one decision I made, to become committed to regular exercise, is a decision that positively and continually impacts my life everyday.

Your Most Important Benefit

Being committed to health and fitness is not easy -- that's why it's such a big topic these days. It takes initiative, drive, and discipline to find/create a program for yourself that works. The beauty is that once you have a program that works, your confidence goes through the roof. If you're able to create results in this area of your life, what other areas of your life can you now transform? The most important benefit comes from the knowing that you can accomplish anything you set out to accomplish.

What I love most is holistically integrating physical training with meditation and goal-setting.  Find creative ways to workout.  I love drums circles and dancing!!

Time Sensitive Goals & Interdependent Goals

Bookmark and Share
Hey there everyone!!

The “T” in the SMART goal formula represents time-sensitivity. That is, our goals should have a specific date associated to them.

However, there are two kinds of dates that can be associated with a goal. The first may be obvious. This is a hard date. A hard date is a calendar date denoting a specific moment in time. We strive to attain our goals, a specific measurable result, by this moment in time.

The second kind of date is a reward-associated date. This is a dynamic moment in time that is represented by another achievement. For example, I have a goal of going to Amsterdam for a vacation. Rather than having a hard date associated to it, I have a dynamic date. That is, I will go to Amsterdam on a vacation once I get out of debt. So, one goal (the goal of going to Amsterdam) is dependent on me achieving another goal (the goal of getting out of debt). This is a powerful tool, because one goal reinforces another goal.

5 S.M.A.R.T. Distinctions

Bookmark and Share
Hi there everyone!!

Goals should be written down and have the following SMART attributes:

Specific. We need to have hard numbers on our goals. However, this is not to be confused with being “precise.” It’s OK to have ranges of numbers. In fact, it’s better for the subconscious mind if we have a “minimum,” “target,” and “outrageous” goal set. That way, we have both the advantage of setting a high goal that we would love, and still be excited if we only achieve our “minimum.”

Measurable. This is so we will know whether our goals are being achieved or not. This is not to be confused with being “comparable.” Sometimes we set goals and then check and see how our friends, who may have similar goals, are doing. Goals are not meant to be compared with others. We want to compare our achievements with our own past.

Affirmative and Action-oriented. Our minds don’t like to stop old habits, but love to create new habits. This doesn’t mean that we need to be “achieve”-oriented and that all our goals should help us be more productive or successful. Goals can be about taking time off, having fun, living, laughing, and enjoying life.

Realistic. The subconscious mind will reject goals that are not realistic. However, “realistic” is not the opposite of “optimistic.” We can have optimistic goals that are also realistic. In fact, these are the best types of goals to have.

Time-sensitive. Without a due date, we would never return a book to the library. Note that “time-sensitive” doesn’t mean “time-constrained.” We’re allowed to go back to the library and borrow the same book again. So, let’s not feel guilty if we haven’t achieved a goal in a particular time-period. Let’s reset the goal and go for it again.

3 C's of Asking

Bookmark and Share
Read the Previous Article, "The Power of An Authentic Request"
http://ordinarysparks.blogspot.ca/2009/10/please-read-this-it-will-mean-lot-to-me.html

Hey there everyone!!

Does asking really work? Is it "that" simple?

What gets us to ask in the first place? We ask because we have a desire, and we believe that our desire may get fulfilled upon our asking. What stops us from asking? We don't ask because we don't think our request will be answered, leaving our desire unfulfilled. It makes sense. Why would we want to invest in something (making a request) that we don't believe in (getting an affirmative response)?

The fundamental reason we hesitate to ask for something is because we think we won't get what we want. In fact, if we knew that our requests would get accepted, we'd ask for things all the time. We would feel like a child in a candy store, picking and choosing everything to our heart's content. So, how do we raise our level of expectation? How do we get ourselves to believe that we'll get what we want? We've got to get good at asking. Let's learn how to get better results from our requests...

1. Make Your Requests Clear

"Can you help me with my home renovations?"
That request can mean many things. Some people might think you're talking about taking measurements and shopping for supplies. Others may think you're talking about doing sawing and drilling. What's worse is that somebody may decline our request, thinking we wanted X, when we really wanted Y. Consider a more specific question, like "Would it be possible to spare three consecutive hours within the next couple of weeks to assist me in repainting my garage?" If you're familiar with S.M.A.R.T. goals (specific, measurable, affirmative/action-oriented, realistic, time sensitive), then SMARTen your requests, too.

2. Make Your Requests Concise

A long detailed request may never even get read. We've got to respect other people's time, and state our requests in a timely fashion. Initially, Karen (a subscriber) gave me about three paragraphs of text to help promote her. Honestly, I didn't want to spend the time trying to figure out how to shorten or compact Karen's text AND... I wanted to stay committed to supporting people in our community. After a couple of e-mails, I got Karen to submit something much shorter.  Karen stayed committed and was able to see my commitment, too..

3. Make Your Requests Compelling

What's in it for them? About a month ago, I had a speaking opportunity in Brantford, Ontario. It is impossible to get to Brantford by public transit (at the specified speaking time), so I needed a ride. I could have called up a friend and said: "Can you drive me to a speaking engagement?" Would that request be compelling for them? Instead, I asked: "Would you like to see my popular Timeless Truths in Time Management presentation for free and get a dinner out of it too?" Perspective changes everything. I put myself into my friend's shoes by considering what he would get by honoring my request.

If we make our requests clear, concise, and compelling, then people are more likely to honor them. The more people that honor our requests, the more requests we'll make in the future. It's a cycle -- a great cycle. Get in this habit and increase the ratio of your accepted requests.

Intimacy, Chemistry, Love & Desire

Bookmark and Share
Hi there everyone!!

What is intimacy? I think it's a special feeling of closeness where we can be ourselves with each other. When we can be completely free to say whatever we want -- no matter how personal or sensitive -- then there is intimacy.

What is chemistry? I think chemistry occurs when people feel a certain cosmic, spiritual, soulful, or sexual synchronicity. This is when we feel we understand someone; we can relate to them without them having to explain themselves. It is when we know what someone is going to say, before they say it, or know what someone is going to do, before they do it.

What is love? I believe love to be the foundation of eternal trust and unconditional acceptance. When we fear not the other person's actions, truly acknowledge all their choices, and totally be with them, then there is love.

What is desire? Desire is a "calling" that we feel, a powerful and compelling attraction, or the feeling of a destiny yet to be fulfilled. Desire is the ignition of passion.

What is connection? That's our spirit at work -- causing a spark, an electric current, or a vibration. It's that link which fuels our energy and drives us to do the things we wouldn't otherwise do.

What is life? It is a journey to discover, explore, and experience miracles like these.

Is Personal Development a Scam?

Bookmark and Share
Hi there everyone!!

I'm a professional working in the personal development industry. For 18 years, I've participated in all the various disciplines of personal development programs. Even with this extensive knowledge of the industry, I still sympathize when I meet someone at a networking event who rolls their eyes and questions or criticizes the personal development industry when I tell them my profession. I have to admit that I can understand why they think that this industry is full of scams!

To the unsuspecting public there are so many different programs out there! Every speaker has the ultimate secret to life to share with us. Every tape program has the 12 keys we need in mastering success. How is this possible? This leads many to ask, aren't they all just saying the same thing and making millions from it?

Today, personal development is a maturing industry with highly accelerated growth. Economist Paul Zane Pilzer says that the "wellness" industry will hit $1 trillion by 2010. Now, I want to personally ask the question myself. Is personal development a scam?

The concept of personal development is marketed to us in various forms. We've called it professional development. We've called it self-help, self-improvement and peak-performance. We have broadened the term to encompass so much. Now it's the wellness industry that includes vitamins, energy healing, and spiritual enlightenment. Where does it end?

Take coaching for example. It seems everybody and their brother is a coach. This aspect of the industry is experiencing such phenomenal growth that it begs the question, what qualifies someone to be a coach? Technology - that's another enabler in this booming industry. It is so easy for anyone to "self-publish" a book at relatively little cost. So now everyone is a potential author. Again, what qualifications do individuals really have in helping other people?

It is clear that there is no regulatory body in the personal development industry. This is, in fact, very dangerous. Customers can't rely on the quality of products/services they are buying because there are no standards to measure them against. The medical industry has a regulatory body. Our education system has a regulatory body. Lawyers are bound by legal practice and CEO’s are now being offered certification programs. Even the relatively new information technology industry has courses that are universally recognized. Why then doesn't the fast-growing personal development industry have any means to assure the true credibility of a speaker or coach?

Just like there are good doctors and there are bad doctors, there are good speakers and bad speakers. And different doctors relate to different people just like different speakers relate to different people. So is the personal development industry a scam? Well, not more than any other industry may be. The difference is, with a doctor (for example), we know all the education and training they went through. With an author, speaker, or coach, it's a different story.

So what can our industry do about this? We can begin to set standards for our profession. We can establish a regulatory body that monitors the activities of those practicing our profession. We can provide training, counsel and certification for the industry.

How do we go about this? I propose establishing an association for practitioners. Membership would be essential, and teaching, mentoring and personal contribution would be part of the makeup.

It is up to us, to prove our credentials in this manner, and to demonstrate to our clients and the public at large, that we are truly certified to practice our craft. Public perception is so important to the success of any industry. Ours isn’t any different. The next time I am asked the question “is the personal development industry a scam?” I want to be able to proudly tout the certification and on-going education that is required to become a professional practitioner in my chosen field. In the end, however it’s up to you to decide.
