It's ...It wasn't two weeks of migraines... It's chronic pain due to the albinism/blindness every time I am exposed to intense light. Sorry to sound like I have ultimate answers; hence my usage of the word "ideas" in the title.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00328958817018302752noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6093033038954106747.post-18459665060665794532013-05-27T23:11:27.031-04:002013-05-27T23:11:27.031-04:00Thank you for loving the world enough to write abo...Thank you for loving the world enough to write about your pain reducing techniques. I also have a lot of pain ...frequently enough to appreciate the points you have written about. Take care and keep writing. Wanted you to know that I have been receiving your posts for a long time and it's the one letter I enjoy opening.
Mala Rihannoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6093033038954106747.post-16180077804575834262013-05-27T16:27:40.990-04:002013-05-27T16:27:40.990-04:00Fortunately for you, you do not suffer from chroni...Fortunately for you, you do not suffer from chronic pain. For those of us who do, we know well the strategies that can be used to minimize pain. You have outlined some of those techniques in your post. There are others that work, as well. What, perhaps, is important to acknowledge is that pain is real. Pain can be managed, minimized, and even avoided at times. Yet, for those of us who deal with chronic pain, day in day out, for years and years, it is a significant and disabling aspect of life.
To write a post with suggestions is good of you. Please do not, although, purpot to 'solve' the issue of pain. While not intending to, you have dismissed and blamed pain on those who live with it. I am not mismanaging my pain if I feel pain. I have significant physical injuries that cause my pain. My utilization of strategies such as you give are tools to minimize and manage my pain. Please do not purpot to understand something if you do not. Having suffered from migranes at one point in your younger years does not mean you are an expert on pain. Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
