The *BEST* Mediums of Transformation

Bookmark and Share
Hey there everyone!!

Is it books, a remote seminar, or that magic practitioner that will do trick for us?  Each medium of transformation has its own unique benefits and drawbacks, which we will cover here.  Ideally, we want to experiment with all of them, and use some in conjunction with others, to maximize our overall personal growth journey.

Books

The written word is very unique, because it requires an active concentration of consciousness and intelligence.  Even e-books are not bad, because they too can captivate our mental state far more consistently than the other mediums.  However, most people never do finish reading the non-fiction books they buy.

Audio

Listening to personal development on tapes/CDs/mp3’s in the background is the most convenient.  We can multitask while driving, exercising, or doing the laundry.  And even if we’re not paying attention, our subconscious mind retains some of the wisdom through repetition.  Unfortunately, that’s usually not enough for life changes, and so this medium remains a favorite to the academic junkie.

Video

Video training has been around for decades, but YouTube and high-speed Internet have made it affordable for everyone (virtually free).  And even though VHS has been around for decades, it is only through DVD that we have the interactivity to zone in on any particular segment we like.  A multi-sensory experience is great, but with our ADD culture, the videos better be short before we get distracted with something else.

Teleseminars

This is the best way to get a personalized live experience with a professional in the industry -- from the comfort of our own home or office.  When we participate in teleclasses that are over the course of several weeks/months, we have a great structure of discipline, reflection, mentorship, and course correction.  Scheduling may be a challenge for international participants.  Look for our “Extraordinary Business Mastery” program coming out soon.

In-Person Conferences

By far, this is the most highly recommended medium because it creates an environment of collective consciousness.  Just by being around hundreds/thousands of people who are committed to transforming their lives, shifts in energy and perspective become automatic.  You can tap into “feeling” changes, not just mental fluctuations.  Of course, it will cost you financially, if only to travel across the world.

On-Line Forums

Bulletin board services have been around for decades, too, but none have been so elegant and convenient as today’s social media technologies.  This is where we can get our feet wet with free support groups in all areas of personal development and transformation.  This is a “taste” (sampling), and we should use several of the other mediums for lasting transformation.  A great place to start is our fan page at http://www.facebook.com/OrdinaryWords

Entertainment

“The Secret” brought personal development to the masses, and the movie genre has since exploded!  Inspiring entertainment allows the growth of our consciousness to be fun, light, and easy.  It has shifted mainstream society from mocking the industry, to people sculpting tickets at $1,000 a pop like they do with rock stars.  Like all entertainment, it isn’t the whole truth, and it’s sad when people turn their entrainment into a new age religion.

Apps

Mobile is the new Internet, and now we can exercise our personal development anywhere and everywhere we go.  There’s no excuse for not finding thirty seconds of “dead time” throughout our day to launch that app.  It can be at a line-up, in a waiting room, or during public transit.  As a new medium, there’s a lot of junk out there, so we suggest you start with our Inspired Living App.

Community

One of the biggest lessons to uncover is to build communities of people that are committed to their personal development.  This can be as simple as finding holistic practitioners in the healing arts, and getting a regular massage, Reiki sessions, yoga/meditation classes, etc.  Ideally, our friends, family, and associates will hold us to a higher standard, as we co-creatively and consistently implement the life teachings we learn.  This can be the most difficult medium, especially if we have a really negative best-friend or spouse.

You have many choices.  Choose them all.

Hey there everyone!!

Inspired by Tony Robbins’ signature “Live With Passion!”, I’ve come up with several taglines over the years, including “Ordinary Words ~ Extraordinary Power” and “have fun creating your life!”

But none has been recognized, acknowledged and re-used as much as the “Let’s love the world together…” sign-off.

It’s simple, and it’s profound.  I wanted something that would have solution and action implied, while being light and open to so much possibility.  Let me illustrate:

“Let’s”
Life is just not about creating; many times it is also about allowing.  Accepting the way things are is key in our personal growth journey.  “Let it be” is a Beatles song that is globally recognized for this wisdom.  And in improv class, I found “let’s” to be a very powerful tool (demonstrated in the improv game, “Yes, Let’s!”).

“love”
This word probably has the most spectrum of meaning through various languages, cultures, interpretations, and usages.  It always has a positive connotation, yet people can substitute their own ideas and understanding of what love is -- which is perfect in this context.

“the world”
The word “world” is more subjective than “globe”, “planet”, or “Earth”, because “your world” is probably different than “my world” even though we live on the same planet.  However, because we cohabitate on Earth, where your world meets my world becomes “the world” that we can acknowledge, address, and possibly transform.

“together…”
It’s so much more fun to live in co-creation, especially now with the Internet and an interconnected global community.  I remember a childhood song that went, “The more we get together, together, together; The more we get together, the happier we'll be.”  The “dot-dot-dot” suggests not a one-time action, but a consistent way of being.

We may not be able to make a difference for everyone.  But if we can make a difference for the world together, everyone will be affected.

And so we produced a song, called "Let's love the world together..."

Top 9 Personal Development Programs of All Time

Bookmark and Share
Hi there everyone!!

Having participated in hundreds of personal development programs all around the world over the last twenty years, I’m often confronted with the question, “which one is the best”?

The accurate answer is that it depends on what you want, your financial resources, your time resources, and your overall commitment.

Nevertheless, I have rated the Top 9 personal development programs based on what I feel makes the biggest difference for most people in the shortest amount of time.  In this list, you may be surprised by the spectrum of what I consider a personal development program.

9. Cashflow 101 Game

It’s a board game based on the teachings of Robert Kiyosaki.  My financial understanding was revolutionized first through his book, “Rich Dad, Poor Dad”.  However, actually playing the game with real-life people made all the difference for me.  It’s fun to be out of the rat-race.

8. Outward Bound Wilderness School

Many weekend programs are great because they provide an environment of experiential learning.  However, that environment is usually artificially created or simulated, whether it is a fire-walk, martial arts, or even a ropes course.  There’s nothing more exhilarating than being on a side of a mountain thousands of feet high, relying on yourself and your team to make sure you don’t die.

7. Sterling Institute of Relationships

Relationships are the juice of life, and mastering them specifically is essential.  Unlike other programs, this is really driven by a men’s movement and a women’s movement that facilitate the growth and evolution of the teachings.

6. The Meeting House

Religious people are afraid of hell, and spiritual people have already been through it.  But spirituality can’t happen in isolation which is why community is so important.  The Meeting House is a church for people who are not into church, and provides a modernized environment with examples from popular music, movies, and culture.

5. Network Marketing

Some people would never have been exposed to personal development if it wasn’t for the network marketing industry.  Every successful network marketing company has a HUGE component of personal development -- which all the leaders feel was absolutely necessary for their success.  While some people may not make money in network marketing, many of them get tremendous value through their personal development programs.

4. Toastmasters International

Public speaking is the number one fear most people have, and yet it is the number one ability that can affect our professional life.  Toastmasters spans over 13,000 clubs in 115 countries.  Since 1924, it has helped people of all backgrounds become more confident in front of an audience.

3. The Millionaire Mind

What makes this top the list is T. Harv Eker’s aggressive business model of offering full weekend courses essentially for FREE.  The value obtained in his programs have helped cause many people to become financially free.  Today, having no money is no excuse.

2. Notes from a Friend

In the marketing of so many books and courses, we are given so much content and promised so many extra bonuses that it becomes overwhelming.  Don’t you just want the goods, without all the story, background, and explanations?  That’s what I feel Anthony Robbins’ unpublicized book, “Notes from a Friend” provides.  This could be the manual for how to use the human brain.

1. The Landmark Forum

In just a weekend, so many people have become conscious of their own inner voice and have taken control of their lives.  I love meeting, socializing, and doing business with Landmark Graduates, become they have such an authentic way of communicating, and a high standard of integrity.  Imagine being immersed in a community of people who are living the lives they love, and have the tools to help others do the same?

The personal development program I recommend the most is The Inspired Living App - Get new personal development, hi-quality videos on your smart phone every week.  I make good money from promoting this, and so can you.  We can even work together!!

THRIVE Officially FREE

Bookmark and Share
This movie was my BIGGEST viral ever (back in November 2011), but Foster Gamble had asked for it to be taken down because he was charging for the movie.

Now the movie is officially FREE.

Thrive - Full Movie
http://www.InspirationalEntertainment.com

Hi there everyone!!

Out of the hundreds of transformational movies I have seen, this is absolutely the best movie ever.

I don't make that statement lightly.  This movie is changing the world big time, and you at least deserve to know about it.

Watch the entire THRIVE movie here:
http://inspirationalentertainment.com/

A year before “The Secret” was released, I envisioned a whole slew of inspiring films about human potential would be released.  I even registered the domain, http://www.InspirationalEntertainment.com!

Soon other inspiring movies started to flow consistently, like What The Bleep, Conversations with God, and Spiritual Liberation.

Then I noticed an increase in the popularity of movies about the New World Order.  While not talked about in the mainstream media, these movies like the Zeitgeist series, Money as Debt, and the Obama Deception have broken international records.

My prediction was that these two seemingly opposite genres (positive thinking/personal development vs. end-game scenarios/global corruption), would soon merge into one new genre of “awakening films”.

Over two years ago, I started collecting the best short videos and feature-length movies that most closely resembled my vision, and created a multi-media portal.

And I compiled a comprehensive list of organizations and solutions that were committed to transforming our world.

While I’m very proud of both these web sites, they didn’t really “viral” out to many people.

But, my vision did get realized.

I paid for and finished watching the entire THRIVE feature-length movie when it was first released (November 2011) -- and it is the best feature-length movie I have ever seen, completely aligned with my vision.

Their web site contains a comprehensive list of solutions, with links and resources, so we can all work together, making the world work for everyone.

You can watch the entire length movie here:
http://www.InspirationalEntertainment.com

For skeptics of the New World Order, the THRIVE web site contains facts and references for everything mentioned in the movie.

It’s a bittersweet feeling to know that my vision has manifested, and I wasn’t part of the THRIVE team.  I still feel just as inspired, however, to share this wonderful work with you, so that we can love the world together...

Ac-Cent-Tchu-Ate the Positive

Bookmark and Share
Hi there everyone!!

My friend Rita told me about this amazing song from 1944 (almost 70 years ago) that I had never heard before -- surprisingly, considering I have been to so many personal development reatrests.  It’s fascinating how long inspirational music has been around...

“You got to ac-cent-tchu-ate the positive
E-lim-i-nate the negative
And latch on to the affirmative
Don't mess with mister inbetween

You got to spread joy up to the maximum
Bring gloom down to the minimum
And have faith, or pandemonium
Liable to walk upon the scene”
- Johnny Mercer

And my friend John Tayles just released this music video last week, Get It Right!
