My Personal MLM Story

Bookmark and Share
Hi there everyone!!

Network marketing (also known as Multi-Level Marketing or MLM) is fast becoming the preferred business model for corporations, and the smarter way to be a consumer today. Uncover the top five reasons people fail in network marketing through this article. First, here’s my personal story...

I was entrepreneurial in high-school, always on the search to create financial independence. My desire for wealth wasn’t focused on abundance -- rather, it was simply about creating a functionally equivalent lifestyle that most people (without disabilities) enjoy.

People with disabilities need more money to live, simply to purchase aids and devices for survival. For me, I cannot drive, and public transit doesn’t go everywhere. Even paying for cabs all the time doesn’t create a “functional equivalent lifestyle” in my view (nor is it always practical). For me to experience the freedom of rapid mobility, my vision was to be able to afford a full-time driver (if not several, so I always have someone available).

Network marketing would be the most plausible way for me to create that reality.

At age 19, I was introduced to Amway, and thought it was the best thing since sliced bread. We could shift the power structures from big corporations back to local communities and create wealth that wasn’t possible before in record time? Wow! I can create an international multi-million dollar home-based business with hardly any capital, experience, or resources? This is awesome!! Why wasn’t everybody in already? Why hadn’t I heard about this before?

So I invested the next two years giving it my all. I went to all the meetings, and national conferences. I showed the marketing plan to tons of people consistently. I listened to all the tapes. I never really read before (because reading gives me headaches and eyestrain), but since my mentors told me that I must do “everything” in order to succeed, I even started to read for fifteen minutes every day.

While I got tremendous value in professional development and business training, I didn’t make any money.

Could it be the company? I explored every MLM product category: juices, pills, lotions, potions, chocolates, telecom, financial, travel, legal, and even gold.

So I thought, why doesn’t this concept work? What is wrong with all of these companies?

Then I got it! Oh, it must be because the products are actually NOT what they claim. Some companies say their products are less expensive, but traditional retailers charge less. Some companies say their products are superior quality, when they really are not. Why don’t these MLM companies just provide superior products so we can use this model to change the world already?

So, let’s get rid of the product. That way we can use this amazing MLM concept to change the world, and there will be no products to complain about.

OOPS: That would create an illegal pyramid. We can’t do that (with our current laws, there MUST be product consumption).

How do we have a product, but not have a product? I kept asking that question, and the universe finally gave me an answer.

A donation: The product could be a gift to a charity or a humanitarian organization that is doing good in the world.

I talked to some of my friends and industry leaders, who all said it couldn’t be done. Nevertheless, I kept visualizing this concept for a couple of years...

Then my friend Marcia Martin called me and introduced me to HUB -- a new network marketing organization where humanitarian impact is an integral and significant part of its compensation plan. It was like all my dreams came true as I became associated with some of my personal development heroes like Jack Canfield and Dr. Michael Beckwith from “The Secret”.

HUB was the first network marketing company where I made consistent income, and on occasion, significant income.

Then, things got rocky again and my income started to decline. I had invested so much into this venture, and didn’t know what I was going to do next.

This is when miracles happen. Several months later, my income in ANOTHER network marketing company skyrocketed! Five years previous, I had gotten into an MLM and recruited somebody who became a superstar. Now that business does half a million dollars of volume every month, and the small overriding residuals I receive from that business covers my basic living expenses, every month, month after month.

It’s not my car-and-driver (yet), but it is an amazing place to be that most people will never experience.

Did I get lucky? Yes, if you think of luck as “Labor Under Correct Knowledge.”

Consider all the ways that most people are “Unlucky.”

1. Most people are not open. I wouldn’t have gotten lucky if I wasn’t open to network marketing.

2. Of those who are open, most don’t get it. I wouldn’t have gotten lucky if I didn’t pay my startup costs and register myself into the MLM.

3. Of those that get in, some actually don’t become their own customer! I wouldn’t have gotten lucky if I didn’t choose to support my own business, and support a good friend by channeling my essential home services through my new business.

4. Of those that become their own customer, most don’t share. I wouldn’t have gotten lucky if I didn’t share the opportunity with my friends, associates, and acquaintances.

5. Of those who do share, most quit in less than a year. I wouldn’t have gotten lucky if I didn’t renew every year, for five years. I was going through a really tough time one year and actually considered canceling. I was “lucky” enough to have a Super Friend remind me of what I had in my possession.

Now, here’s your luck:

I’m looking for new people to build big teams with. If you would like to work with me personally, we could have a lot of fun making money and awakening the world together.

Ten Algorithms of Money Creation

Bookmark and Share
Hi there everyone!!

Don’t let social engineers manipulate you out of the freedoms you were meant to experience.

Most people believe that the only way they can make money is to exchange their time for money (job/career).  This is modernized slavery.  It is the manipulation of mass psychology to devote one’s life to the wishes of the controllers, rather than following spirit.

Here’s how we can transcend that:

There will be a day where we do not use money anymore, but it will not be overnight.  The awakening is a transition from here to there, the process of which is to understand how many other ways there are to make money, first.

Simply put, each person contributes a certain amount of money into a money bubble.  Mathematical algorithms are then applied that change the owner and/or the value of the money over a given time.  Human psychology is manipulated as each algorithm can be expressed in so many artful ways.  The following are the general paradigms I have come to experience.

1. Taxes

This is the oldest and now the most sophisticated web of algorithms (thousands of pages in many countries).  We are taught that the algorithms are based on social justice, equality, and infrastructure -- and many of them are.  However, today the complexity (and selective enforcement) has caused the algorithms to be manipulated to serve the elite, perpetuate corruption, and continue to fund wars around the world.

2. Lotteries / Raffles

The algorithm here is essentially random.  Everybody loses, except a few lucky winners to take the lion’s share.

3. Banks / Interest

This algorithm increases the money supply by a certain amount over time.  The fee can be fixed (Islamic banking), a percentage (fractional reserve banking), or unlimited (Federal Reserve, corruption).

4. Stocks / Derivatives

This is when most of the algorithm is based on public hype, accounting manipulation, and insider knowledge.  When 70% of the trades are driven from algorithms (artificial intelligence), it is like playing chess with a super-computer.  Although there is possibility in making money with technical/fundamental analysis, the amounts required to offset trade fees today often make the game only for the rich.

5. Hands-On Businesses

Some people (angel investors) put money into a project that yields dividends for the entrepreneur and shareholders.  Human ingenuity and value are the big components in this algorithm.  People tend to have the most invested in this model (directly, publicly, personally, intimately), so there usually is the most commitment to success.  Of course, timing, talent/skills, contacts, and luck are variables, too.

6. Politics

Those in this realm have the power to use geopolitical issues to affect the money algorithm (e.g., laws/regulations concerning imports/exports, currency trading).  This algorithm affects society the most, globally and long-term.

7. Illegal Pyramids

Here the money simply flows from the bottom to the top.  They are considered “illegal” because theoretically, everybody would get in, and the top 33% of the society would control the bottom 66% of society.  Ironically, this is still a better scenario than what we have in the world today, where 1% of the people control 99% of the population.

8. Gifting Programs

This is where people put money in with no expectation of any return.  Since it is a “gift”, they would have a great sense of contribution and perhaps received some intangible support for that gift.  Now, if they encourage others to be givers as well, then they might one day make some money, too.  While this algorithm of “karma” is considered unethical by some, it is the algorithm where personal effort is the biggest (and almost exclusive) variable for success.

9. Network Marketing / MLMs

This category is a science onto itself.  Each sub-category (uni-level, forced matrix, binary, break-away) has its own advantages and disadvantages.  The most powerful attributes of all these algorithms is that they have Effort, Integrity, Value, and Commitment, as their core variables.  It is also the only paradigm of money creation that has created the most millionaires in the least amount of time.

10. Hybrids

If we barter 100% or are involved in 100% co-operatives, there is no money creation.  This is ideally where would like to be as a society, because there is no control or power over another.  In essence, the currency is 100% time, ability, and effort.  However, most barter programs charge a monetary percentage and most co-operatives today charge a membership fee.  Therefore these are hybrid examples with one or more of the previous algorithms.

It’s amazing how much depth there is to the world when we take a closer look.  At some level, we can enjoy learning about and contributing to all the algorithms of money creation.  Where I love to play and where I tend to make the most difference is helping people save/make money through network marketing.

Which money creation game do you want to play?

Why does war exist in the world?

November 11 is NOT what you think...

Bookmark and Share
Hi there everyone!!

Back in school, I was taught about honor and duty on Veterans Day (it’s called Remembrance Day in Canada).

I even delivered a speech in front of 2,000 fellow high-school students on why, for this generation, “Acknowledgment Day” would make more sense over trying to “remember” something we did not experience.

Up until this year, I wore a poppy representing my respect and appreciation for the freedoms I enjoy.

Now, in the mainstream media, I see messages (excuses) for why we need to extend the war in Afghanistan (which should have already ended, or never even been started).

When I looked-up this day on Wikipedia, I affirmed my instinct that this was a day created as a symbol to END war (and for humanity never to be at war again).  Today, this day is used as an excuse to continue illegal wars.

This is Double Think and mind control.  If you think this doesn’t affect you, realize that the money you spend is funding these illegal wars, genocide, drug trafficking, and corruption.

Some may be afraid to bring up these topics with others.  Well, now is the best time...

If somebody is wearing a poppy, then they are publicly saying that they have an opinion about this subject.  So, engage them in exploring the depth of that opinion.  This is how we awaken humanity.

We have the solutions.  Now is the time.  11/9/10

WARNING: Some are offended by truth (even though it is just one perspective).  If you get offended by swearing then you are an example of a hypnotized person destracted by irrelevant details instead of truly examining the bigger picture--the state of the world and humanity.

P.S. I was going to correct my spelling of “destracted”, and then realized than anyone who makes a point of mentioning that, will again have been distracted by irrelevant details instead of understanding the bigger picture.  Play a bigger game.

The awakening is now.

Vote for Gold and a Real Economy

Hi there everyone!!

Here’s an awesome 6-minute cartoon that illustrates the evolution from ethical bartering to modern day banking corruption.

http://ordinarywords.com/goldsmith

I started my master document to rid the world of war and corruption a year ago.  And, I’ve added so much to it since, with lots of feedback from people like you.  Thank you.

See many more solutions for ethical commerce below.

Let’s love the world together...

Love,
[)anish /|hmed, blind visionary

Dr. Michael Beckwith (star in "The Secret") describes a new paradigm of commerce in terms of energy, where we give and we receive until we realize that giving and receiving is one in the same thing.

Do business with local merchants like Business Networking International or Referral Quest instead of people we don't know, franchises or faceless monopolies.  Support the arts, and buy tickets to the events hosted, produced, or marketed by your friends.

In any ethical marketplace, value is associated to physical products, common services, unique knowledge, or special ability/talent.  What it also posses is an element of social credit (networking, it's who you know, or reputation -- who knows you).  Our current mainstream monetary system has both these huge elements, which is why our monetary system seems like an ethical system in general.

It's always a good idea to invest in yourself (consciousness, knowledge, ability), and social credit (helping others, giving to community).  This is more important than acquiring monetary wealth because when our current system crashes / as we transition into a new one, it will be your intelligence and your relationships that will quickly build your new wealth.

DreamNow is a charitable organization that produces ideas that do good for the world.  Founded in 2003 by Lynne Twist, the Soul of Money Institute is a center for exploring and sharing the best practices, theories, and attitudes that enable people to relate to money and the money culture with greater freedom, power, and effectiveness.

Brave New Theaters provides world changers like you with films and organizing tools to bring attention to, raise money for, and take action around the issues you care deeply about.

GlobalMojo is a new web browser that helps you generate money for your favorite causes (including millions of registered charities and non-profits around the world) simply by browsing the Internet the same way you do every day, and at no cost to you.

It doesn't take money anymore to get mass exposure. What it does take is a collective consciousness of individuals committed to a common purpose. Now there are FREE full-day workshops around the world that will teach you financial intelligence.  If you can read, but don't, you may as well be illiterate.  So join us at the next Millionaire Mind Intensive Weekend.

Don’t spend your time or consciousness trying to save $5 (you're probably spending more money in gas, not to mention all the inconvenience/frustration).  Instead, learn about taxes and interest, because they are the two biggest expenses of your life.  The best way to avoid both of them is to barter whenever possible, or join barter networks.  "Local Exchange/Employment Trading Systems" (LETS) allow people a hybrid system of currency exchange with local bartering.

Ithaca Hours is a local currency system that promotes local economic strength and community self-reliance in ways which will support economic and social justice, ecology, community participation and human aspirations.  Ithaca Hours help to keep money local, building the Ithaca economy.  It also builds community pride and connections.

Use municipal currencies to support local communities.  For example, The Toronto Dollar is a symbol of caring, created by community-minded citizens in the hope that it will help to build a more just and compassionate city.  The work of the Toronto Dollar is to encourage more caring social and economic relationships among people from the community, business and government sectors -- and particularly among those in the community in greatest economic need.

Joint-venturing (like being an affiliate partner) is a great way to do business, eliminating transaction cost and fostering more community/co-creation.

Invest in people you know and organizations you care about.  You don't need a lot of money to make a difference.  There are lots of new business models which allow you to make a big difference with very little money.  For instance, fund movies made by movements, such as "The Shift Movie".  Pirate Myfilm is a pioneering platform for user-financed content and a great way to acquire funding for your movie/film project.

Become knowledgeable about the multi-level/network marketing industry.  These organizations are much more ethical (not perfect) than the brands we’ve been brainwashed (mass-media, subliminal advertising, hypnosis, propaganda, product placement, etc.) to feel so good about -- and you’d be supporting your family and friends (and their families, and their friends, etc., etc.).

Forget about lawyers.  Write contracts for the sake of effective communication, and choose to do business with those whose word you trust.  The only ones who win in a corrupt legal system are the lawyers who have no incentive to authentically transform your situation.
